Zenkai G · Last updated 22 October 2026
This notice explains what Zenkai G collects when you play, why, who can see it, and how to delete it. It covers the Zenkai G game on iOS and Android, its online services, and this website.
Zenkai G does not show ads, does not sell your data, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Who we are
Zenkai G is made and published by Wai Tsui, an independent developer in the United States, trading as Zenkai G ("we"). We decide how your information is used, so we are the "controller" of it under data protection law.
Questions, requests and complaints: support@zenkaig.com. We answer within 30 days.
What we collect
We collect what the online game needs to work, plus race data only if you allow it.
| Category | What it includes | When |
|---|---|---|
| Account | A random account ID created the first time you go online. If you link a sign-in: your email address, or from Google your name, email address, Google account ID and profile picture link. | Automatically when online; sign-in details only if you link them |
| Cloud save | A backup of your game progress (garage, cars and builds, story and career progress, items you own, race stats) and a short summary (last played, driver level, cars owned, story chapter, play time) | When your progress saves while you are online, so you can restore it on another device |
| Driver profile | Driver name, driver card (portrait, title, phrase, background), per-car plate text, showcase car and its look | When you set them up; your driver name and card are shared by default |
| Crews and friends | Crew name, tag, description, membership and roles; join-request messages; friends, friend requests, run invitations, stickers you send; players you block; reports you make | When you use these features |
| Race results | Times, scores, car and build, event entries and results, leaderboard positions | When you finish an online event, challenge or ranked race |
| Ghosts | Your recorded driving line (position along the course, speed and car pose over time), car and look | When you set a time that is saved as a ghost or share one with friends |
| Liveries and photos | Livery designs you use online; game screenshots you put on your profile | When you publish them. Photos are rendered by the game; we never access your camera or photo library |
| Live races | Your driver name, car, look, position and speed during the race, sent to the other racers | While you race online |
| Purchases | Product, store transaction ID, store country, time, and the G and items in your account | When you buy something. Apple or Google takes the payment; we never see your card details |
| Usage and diagnostics | Which screens you open and for how long, races you start, finish or quit (mode, course, car, result), where you are in your progress, store and event screens you view, settings you change, and errors and performance (frame rate, load times, app version, a broad device class). Tied to a random install ID and your account ID. No names, messages or free text. | While you play, if "Share usage data" is on. In the EU, UK and Switzerland it stays off until you choose SHARE. Error reports are sent either way, so we can fix crashes |
| Race telemetry (optional) | Per race: course, mode, times, car, AI rival settings, a once-per-second distance and speed trace, and a random device ID | Only if you turn on "Help tune the AI" in Settings. It is off until you do |
| Support messages | What you send us and your email address | When you email us |
| Technical data | Your IP address and basic request details, handled by our hosting providers to deliver the service and keep it secure | Whenever the game or this website connects to our servers |
Kept on your device only: your settings and downloaded game content. Deleting the app deletes them.
We do not collect: your location, contacts, microphone or camera, advertising ID, browsing history, or payment card details. The game contains no advertising or third-party analytics tools. This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers.
How we use it
We use your information to run the game and keep it fair and safe, never for advertising.
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis (EU/UK) |
|---|---|---|
| Run your account and the online game: sign-in, cloud save, leaderboards, ghosts, friends, crews, live races | Account, cloud save, profile, crews and friends, race results, ghosts, liveries, photos, live race data | Performing our contract with you (the Terms) |
| Deliver purchases and keep your G and items safe | Purchases, account | Contract; keeping tax and accounting records is a legal obligation |
| Stop cheating, fraud and abuse; review reports; enforce the rules | Account, race results, ghosts, reports, blocks, technical data | Legitimate interests in a fair, safe game |
| Improve the game: find where players get stuck, which features they use, how events perform, and fix errors and slow screens | Usage and diagnostics, purchases (counts, not card details) | Your consent in the EU, UK and Switzerland; elsewhere our legitimate interest in improving the game, which you can switch off at any time. Error reports: legitimate interest in a working game |
| Tune the AI rivals and course difficulty | Race telemetry | Your consent, which you can withdraw in Settings at any time |
| Answer your requests and support messages | Support messages, account | Contract and legal obligations |
We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Matchmaking and leaderboard rules use race results only to rank and pair players.
What other players can see
Zenkai G is a social racing game, so some of what you create is public by design.
- Anyone in the game: your driver name, driver card, plate text, showcase car and its look, crew name and tag, leaderboard entries (time, score, car and build), published liveries and profile photos.
- Players racing your ghost: your driving line, car and look. Some event ghosts can be shown without your driver name.
- Friends: your online status, recent activity and run invitations.
- Crew members: crew feed messages, roles and event contributions. Crew officers also see join-request messages.
- Other racers in a live race: your driver name, car, look and position while the race runs.
Your email address, Google account and cloud save are never shown to other players. Reports and blocks are private: the player you report or block is not told who did it.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run the game, and never sell it.
| Who | Why | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Hosts the game's online services (database, sign-in, cloud save, file storage) for us under a data processing agreement | Everything in "What we collect" except what stays on your device |
| Resend | Sends sign-in and confirmation emails for us | Your email address and the email we send you |
| Cloudflare | Hosts this website and forwards email sent to support@zenkaig.com | Website request data; support emails in transit |
| Confirms your identity if you choose Sign in with Google | That you are signing in to Zenkai G. Google's own privacy policy applies | |
| Apple App Store or Google Play | Take payments and confirm purchases | Purchase details, under their own privacy policies |
| Authorities | Only when the law requires it, or to protect players from harm | What the request lawfully covers |
If Zenkai G is sold or transferred, your information moves with it under this notice, and we will tell you first.
We do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, as California law defines those terms.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account exists and delete it within 30 days after you delete your account, with the exceptions below.
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Account, sign-in, profile, crews, friends, ghosts, liveries, photos | Until you delete your account, then deleted within 30 days |
| Cloud save | Your latest save while your account exists; up to five earlier versions for 30 days; deleted with your account |
| Finished event leaderboards | Kept so past results stay correct, but your name and account ID are replaced with an anonymous placeholder |
| Purchase records | 7 years, as tax and accounting law requires |
| Usage and diagnostics | Individual events 30 days; per-player daily summaries 13 months; totals with no player or install ID (for example daily player counts) are kept |
| Race telemetry | 12 months, then deleted |
| Reports and moderation records | 12 months after the case closes |
| Support emails | Up to 24 months after the conversation ends |
| Backups | Overwritten within 30 days |
| Technical logs at our hosting providers | As set by each provider, typically days to weeks |
Your choices and rights
You can delete your account in the game at any time, and you control the optional race telemetry.
- Delete your account: Settings → Account → Delete account. This deletes your account and online data as described above. See Delete your account for other ways.
- Usage data: turn "Share usage data" on or off in Settings. Turning it off stops collection and discards anything not yet sent.
- Race telemetry: turn "Help tune the AI" on or off in Settings. Turning it off stops new uploads.
- Public profile: change or clear your driver name, plate text, card and photos in the game; leave a crew; unpublish photos.
- Block and report: block any player and report names, crews, messages, liveries or photos from their profile or the crew screens.
Depending on where you live, you also have the right to:
- see the information we hold about you and get a copy in a portable format;
- correct it;
- have it deleted;
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier use;
- complain to your data protection authority (in the EU or UK) or your state attorney general (in the US).
California residents also have the right to know what we collect and why, and to delete and correct it. We do not sell or share personal information, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights.
To make a request, email support@zenkaig.com with your account ID (Settings → Account → Account ID) so we can confirm the request comes from you. We reply within 30 days (45 days for California requests).
Children
Zenkai G is not directed at children under 13. In the EU and UK the age at which a child can agree to data use on their own is set by each country (13 to 16); younger players there need a parent's consent.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we delete it. A parent who believes their child has used the game can email support@zenkaig.com.
Where your data is stored, and how we protect it
Your online data is stored in the United States (Supabase, AWS us-east-1 region). If you play from outside the US, it is transferred there under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses in our providers' data processing agreements, and the UK addendum to them.
We protect it with encrypted connections (TLS), database rules that let each player read and change only what they are allowed to, server-checked purchases, and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Changes to this notice
When we change this notice we update the date at the top. For important changes we also tell you in the game before they take effect.
